Member of Compliance, Anchorage Digital

• Success in this role requires a deep understanding of digital assets and blockchain technology, extensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape governing digital assets (including BSA/AML, KYC/CDD, OFAC sanctions, and emerging regulations), and proven experience with regulatory reporting requirements, compliance frameworks, and exam management procedures
• Ideally, you'll also have experience with data analysis and interpretation, technical proficiency in areas like cybersecurity and digital asset custody, and project management skills
• A basic legal background in financial services and data privacy is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to effectively convey complex regulatory issues to diverse stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Has extensive knowledge of regulatory reporting and exam management best practices in financial services, particularly in the digital asset industry
• Effectively interprets and applies complex and evolving digital asset regulations to real-world scenarios
• Possesses a strong understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, KYC/CDD) and their application to financial services and specifically digital asset businesses
• Proficient in using compliance software and tools to support regulatory reporting and exam management activities
• Faces difficult challenges and exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for achieving results in regulatory reporting and exam management
• Capable of successfully navigating roadblocks and obstacles, escalating when necessary, and proactively identifying solutions

• This involves tracking and interpreting regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of all reports, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance framework
• You will coordinate internal efforts to ensure all regulatory examination requirements are met and submitted, as well as interact with regulators to address inquiries with timeliness and accuracy, demonstrating our commitment to compliance
