Role
Who you are
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in data analysis, with a focus on using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics or other analytics tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data querying languages
- Excellent data visualization skills and experience creating reports and dashboards
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and understanding of eCommerce dynamics
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the data analytics field
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst based in our Berlin office
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets
- Utilize expertise in BI/Analytics tools to develop insightful and actionable reports and dashboards
- Interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful insights into business performance, user behavior, and other relevant metrics
- Reporting and Visualization:
- Develop and maintain visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards in Looker
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and implement effective data visualization solutions
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance in all reporting activities
- Google Analytics Mastery:
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Google Analytics
- Utilize Google Analytics to track and analyze website traffic, user engagement, and other key performance indicators
- Provide recommendations for optimizing digital strategies based on insights derived from Google Analytics data
- Tool Proficiency:
- Leverage expertise in other analytics tools to enhance data analysis capabilities and provide comprehensive insights
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging tools to continuously improve the analytics ecosystem
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business objectives and data requirements
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Tech teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics tools and data sources
- Problem Solving and Decision Support:
- Assist in solving complex business problems by leveraging data-driven insights
- Provide decision support to leadership through comprehensive data analysis and strategic recommendations
