Role
Who you are
- You are pursuing a relevant HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a comparable field
- You are proactive, organized, service oriented and have an eye for detail
- You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Dutch and English
- You are a team player and have a positive attitude
- You are based in the Netherlands and enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship

- As a Marketing & Event Management Intern, you'll be a key part of our marketing team, helping us to showcase our groundbreaking technology at events around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience in event execution and content creation, directly contributing to our company's growth
- Event Management:
- Help us organize and execute both international tradeshows and smaller local events
- Support with the logistics, communication, and evaluation of events
- Marketing Communications:
- Support our digital presence by helping to create content for our social media channels, primarily LinkedIn
- Contribute to our company website by helping to update and maintain content to keep our messaging fresh and relevant
- Marketing Operations:
- Assist with administrative tasks within the marketing domain, such as maintaining folder materials, merchandising and preparing documents
- Actively contribute and participate in various Marketing projects
- Conduct research and analyze data to initiate new initiatives
Our take
Dutch agtech Source.ag installs AI-powered indoor farms in order to democratise access to sufficient fruit and vegetables whilst using fewer resources. Given that almost 45% of people worldwide do not have access to enough fruit and veg, this is a sizable problem to address.
As the climate crisis worsens, the company's services are in high demand, as indoor farms are essential in providing higher food security under increasingly challenging weather conditions. Source's hi-tech farms are able to protect crops against extreme heat, cold, rainfall or pests.
The company continues to invest in the development of its software that is making greenhouses smarter, whilst also onboarding new customers and expanding partnerships. It is well-funded, which has enabled accelerated product development and supported the expansion of commercial collaborations.
