Role
Who you are
- To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be open to learning, experimenting, and evolving. Comfort with emerging technology and curiosity around how tools like AI can support your workflow or help families more effectively is a plus
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including building and maintaining financial models
- Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Omni, Tableau) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM data a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with non-finance stakeholders
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to own deliverables independently
- To work remotely, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls and a professional (distraction free) environment
What the job involves
- As our Financial Analyst, you will own key pieces of Wellthy's ongoing financial reporting and cross-functional data analysis — from department-level metrics and margin analysis to imputed income reporting
- You'll partner closely with teams across the company to gather and validate data, and you'll help build the monthly reporting deck that keeps leadership informed

- Tools like AI and other innovations are accelerators, enabling us to scale our impact, work smarter, and stay at the forefront of care delivery
- You will report directly to the Director of Finance
- Own ongoing financial reporting, including light ROI/return modeling for company initiatives and programs
- Track, analyze, and report on department-level metrics and KPIs across the business
- Build, maintain, and distribute the monthly reporting deck for leadership
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and populate financial and operational data
- Conduct margin analysis across service lines, programs, or accounts
- Own imputed income reporting and calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Own reporting and analysis within our BI tool, building deep fluency in the underlying data models and dashboards
- Partner with the Data team on data models and pipelines feeding the BI tool, while owning the finance-specific analysis, judgment, and reporting output that sits on top
- Maintain Salesforce (SFDC) data to support pipeline visibility
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and business partnering requests
- Identify and apply opportunities to use AI and automation tools to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and quality
- Maintain knowledge of Wellthy's organizational policies, procedures, and reporting standards
Our take
The US is soon set to have its largest elderly population of all time. Plus, the majority of older Americans live alone, often very far from immediate family members. In a country where over 40 million people are providing unpaid care to someone aged 50 or over, Wellthy is tackling a long-overlooked issue by matching unpaid caregivers with social workers.
Once registered on the site, a social worker takes on the role of care coordinator and can become responsible for a range of tasks including medical paperwork, insurance claims, treatment organization and in-home care arrangements.
Rather than going straight to the carers themselves, the company is attempting to scale quickly by approaching employers to add its service to employee benefits. This is particularly appealing to employers since many have found caregiving to be a critical barrier to re-entry for their employees. Hence this approach bodes well for Wellthy's continued success.
