Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a UA Manager in mobile ad tech, or mobile game publishing environment
  • Experience in managing UA across multiple Social, Rewarded Video and DSP platforms
  • Strong understanding of the mobile gaming and User Acquisition success metrics, Ability to analyse UA data and communicate concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of mobile attribution and the role MMPs play in the ecosystem
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships and work cross-functionally
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a User Acquisition Lead to join our London-based team at Flexion Group PLC. In this vital role, you will forge strong, lasting relationships with some of the world’s most innovative mobile gaming studios, helping them to drive growth by effectively utilising a range of internal and external UA solutions
  • You’ll act as a trusted advisor and growth partner — helping clients optimize campaign performance, expand spend confidently, and adopt new acquisition strategies in a rapidly evolving mobile landscape
  • UA Growth: Identify and present opportunities for testing and expanding advertising budgets based on proven performance metrics, aiming to increase client investment while maximizing revenue for Flexion-managed titles
  • Department Leadership: Drive forward our User Acquistion function, ensuring that all team members executing to industry best practice
  • Proposition Development: Work closely with Product and UA teams to develop Flexion’s Direct-To-Consumer proposition. Maintain and develop best practice playbooks that are distributable and clearly understood
  • Campaign Performance Optimization: Work closely with internal teams to continuously analyze and improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Retention & Renewals: Focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction by fostering open relationships and providing exceptional service. Developing long-term partnerships that benefit Flexion and our developer partners
  • Onboarding & Education: Guide new developers through the onboarding process by providing comprehensive training on open market UA strategies, and ensuring they have the technical tools and expertise to manage campaigns in this space

Our take

Most mobile games developers deploy their games to Google Play Store or the Apple Store, but they are leaving money on the table. Launching on alternative marketplaces such as Huawei App Gallery, Samsung Galaxy App Store or the Amazon App Store could add up to 10% of a game's lifetime revenue. Flexion Mobile exists to fix this, allowing developers to easily launch their games everywhere and reap the benefits.

Flexion is unique in this space, handling set up, maintenance, monetisation and compliance in numerous markets on behalf of their customers. While other firms will do this, Flexion's unique selling point is its automated enabling feature, which automatically optimises features from an app's Google Play version to ensure its compatibility with any other sales channel, a huge time saver for developers.

Flexion is working to develop its product through strategic acquisitions such as its 2022 purchase of Audiencly, allowing it to create new revenue opportunities for its customers. With a customer base which includes huge developers such as Top Games (Evony), Onemt (King's Choice) and Wargaming (World of Tanks), and a track record of generating double-digit revenue boosts for its customers, it is in an excellent position to extend its market lead.
