• We’re looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Mobile Study team at Quizlet. You’ll work on our iOS and Android apps, building and improving the study features that power how millions of students learn with Quizlet. You’ll help shape the core functionality that keeps learners engaged and successful
• In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers while driving projects from ideation through release. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive, performant, and reliable mobile experiences that have a real impact on learners worldwide
• We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. • Design, build, and maintain high quality software supporting the core product
• Collaborate closely with product and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Understand and operate in our existing systems and proactively suggest improvements and new ideas based on industry best practices
• Drive incident investigations, post mortems, and retrospectives and effectively advocate for long-term improvements to systems and processes
• Influence within your team for the right engineering improvements to increase quality of our software, testing, and processes
