Role
Who you are
- A successful candidate should have some experience in IT project coordination and a solid technical background, together with good organizational, analytical and learning abilities
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT support
- Excellent network skills such as managing IT server room, network switch/firewall
- Experienced computer troubleshooting skills (windows 10, mac OS & Linux OS)
- Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Well known security camera system & badge system
- Automation system maintenance experience is a plus
- Nimble and patient with good communication skills
- Warehouse related IT support experience is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin
What the job involves
- As warehouse IT specialist, you will have accountability to help us maintain networks, security camera system, badge system, alarm system, printers, desktops & laptops and automation system
- Set up and maintain IT infrastructure in terms of WAN/LAN network, Access Point, MDF/IDF, video conference, security camera, warehouse badge/alarm system etc
- Provide daily IT support for warehouse operations, including network, desktop/server, barcode & Wi-Fi printer, scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, other IT equipment and warehouse management system, etc
- Maintain all IT equipment and automation system in good working condition
- Install, configure & troubleshoot desktop/PC operating system, hardware, software and app, video conference, printer, etc., and support employee onboard/offboard
- Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets and user access privilege
- Build and maintain warehouse automation system related IT server, storage and applications if needed
- Analyze error reports and system alerts to identify with robots, charging stations and other equipment
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, error logs, and performance metrics to track the health and performance of robotic systems over time
- Write SOP, user manual documents, provide IT training to end users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and projects
- Other projects or tasks assigned by warehouse Operations Manager/Director
- Work Schedule:
- On call
- Flexible work schedule, including the ability to work evening shifts and weekends

It's often hard to find foreign or imported food ingredients in the United States. Weee is an online delivery platform aiming to address this by offering groceries and products for Asian Americans and underserved communities across North America. CEO Larry Lui founded the company after having difficulty finding Chinese ingredients in local stores when he moved to the U.S.
Since its launch in 2015, Weee caters to approximately 300,000 households in the U.S and fulfils thousands of orders a day. Originally targeting Asian consumers, the company now brands itself as an “ethnic e-grocer” in a move to attract the United States' 60 million Hispanic consumers as well. This diversification is in response to growing competition in the Asian grocery space from the likes of e-grocers Chowbus and Umamicart and retail chains H Mart and 99 Ranch Market.
The ethnic grocery market is expected to reach more than $460 billion by 2030. Weee plan to grow into this market by launching its service in over 30 additional North American cities over the next three years, expanding into the Canadian market as well. Further, 2022 funding will be used to tap into new cultural cuisines and scale development in AI and warehouse automation.
