Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to make a tangible impact in a growing company
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience (e.g., Generalist, Specialist, or HR Business Partner), ideally in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment and supporting Go-To-Market functions
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and People best practices
- Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership, driving alignment and collaboration to achieve business outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change initiatives, helping teams and leaders navigate transitions effectively, while maintaining engagement and performance
- Proficiency with HRIS and other HR/People systems and platforms (e.g., BambooHR, TriNet, AON, CultureAmp)
- A high level of discretion, integrity, and a strong moral compass
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees and leaders across the organization
- Experience working with or through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or workforce management firm, preferred
- Must be able to work from Tines’ Boston office at least one day per week
What the job involves
- Tines is seeking a driven and solutions-focused HR Business Partner to support our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization as part of our expanding People Team
- You’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing hands-on support in areas such as performance management, employee relations, and talent development
- You’ll also help shape and implement people programs that foster engagement, growth, and alignment across our teams
- Partnering with first and second line business leaders to provide guidance on talent strategies, performance management, and team development that align with organizational objectives
- Providing consultative support to managers on employee relations matters, coaching conversations, and team dynamics to enhance leadership effectiveness
- Supporting managers in understanding & following HR policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Collaborating with People Team colleagues to develop and implement programs, policies, and process improvements that support business goals and enhance employee experience
- Providing HR operational support by liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners on matters related to benefits, leave management, and payroll administration, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining a positive employee experience
- Gathering and analyzing HR metrics to provide insights into decision-making and program effectiveness
