Director of Business Development, Fundbox

• The ideal candidate has deep experience in fintech or SaaS partnerships, understands API-driven products, and can translate technical and commercial opportunities into scalable growth engines
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• 8–12+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy within fintech and/or SaaS
• Proven success building and scaling partnership-led growth program
• Strong understanding of fintech infrastructure, payments, SaaS platforms, APIs, and integrations
• Experience negotiating complex partnership agreements, including commercial, technical, and regulatory considerations
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and ROI analysis for partnerships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and operate with ambiguity

• We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Business Development to lead partnership-led growth initiatives in a fintech/SaaS environment
• This role will focus on building, scaling, and optimizing strategic partnerships—including platform integrations, channel alliances, and ecosystem relationships—that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and product adoption
• Own and execute the company’s partnership and business development strategy, with a focus on the small business economy and the platforms that power it
• Identify, evaluate, and launch strategic partnerships (e.g., platforms, ISVs, payments, banking, data providers, and channel partners)
• Lead end-to-end partnership execution: sourcing, business case development, negotiations, contracting, and launch
• Drive API, product, and platform integrations in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
• Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including co-selling, co-marketing, and embedded distribution models
• Build and manage a high-quality partnership pipeline and forecast revenue impact
• Negotiate complex commercial and technical agreements, including revenue share, referral, and embedded finance structures
• Analyze partnership performance and optimize for ROI, activation, and long-term scalability
• Serve as the internal voice of partners, aligning stakeholder priorities across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Legal
• Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and ecosystem forums
• Build, mentor, and scale the business development and partnerships team as the function grows
