Who you are

10+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, or related technology sectors
Demonstrated success in closing Enterprise deals and managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Strong understanding of the ecommerce ecosystem—checkout, fraud, payments, platforms, and merchant pain points
Consultative selling skills with a focus on uncovering needs and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions
Experience working cross-functionally and navigating complex deal structures
Fluency in sales tech stack tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Bonus: Experience at a high-growth startup or selling a platform-based product

What the job involves

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding Bolt’s footprint among fast-growing ecommerce and fintech merchants
You’ll lead strategic sales engagements from end to end—identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and closing deals that help our customers scale with Bolt’s seamless checkout technology
This is a high-impact role for a consultative, data-driven seller who understands the unique challenges of Enterprise merchants and knows how to build relationships that last
Please note, this is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the option to convert to full-time after 3–6 months
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying to negotiating and closing—across a portfolio of Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise ecommerce and fintech merchants
Develop and execute strategic account plans that align Bolt’s capabilities with the goals of prospective merchants
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities, collaborating with marketing and partnerships for lead generation and deal acceleration
Deliver tailored product demos and proposals that speak to the needs of technical and business stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding the unique pain points of Enterprise and Strategic merchants and recommending the right mix of solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, and Implementation teams to ensure a seamless sales-to-onboarding handoff
Track and manage activity and pipeline with accuracy in Salesforce and other sales tools
Represent Bolt at industry events and conferences to build brand presence and generate new leads

Its online shopping software is utilized by companies like Brooks Brothers and Forever 21. As well as supporting all major card providers and alternative payment methods like PayPal, customers also don't need a username or password. This reduces cart abandonment and increases merchant conversion rates.

The company has seen impressive growth, annually processing more than $1 billion in retail transactions across its 300+ retailers. While Bolt has won the race against Google, who tried, and failed with Google Checkout, there are other 'one-click' competitors to watch out for, including Square, which has over 30 million monthly active users.
