Who you are

We are looking for a customer obsessed, passionate and driven individual to join our Member Support team
Experience in customer support or community management required – ideally for a tech start-up
English and German fluency is a must - including flawless spelling and grammar. Portuguese, French or German language fluency is a bonus
You are proactive and love problem solving
Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus
You are flexible, self-motivated, dedicated, and hard-working and you have a positive approach together with a willingness to learn

What the job involves

The Bumble Inc. Member Support team is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support

We aspire to be a true differentiator for Bumble, ensuring that every interaction with our team leaves a lasting positive impression on our members
Working for both the Badoo and the Bumble brands, the Member Support Specialist, Social Media will be responsible for providing online customer support across social media channels - primarily via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
This role will be based in the UK or Spain, reporting to the Member Support Manager, Social Media
Working days between Tuesday - Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off and working hours will be UK 07:00 - 16:00 and Spain 08:00 - 17:00
Hours and working days may change in future
Be the face of our brand and provide friendly, personal, and efficient customer support via social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok) as well as review websites (e.g., Trustpilot)
Accurately document customer feedback, topics of conversation and member sentiment for further analysis
Troubleshoot member issues and report any technical issues promptly for resolution
Stay up-to-date on product changes in order to understand user pain points and help them troubleshoot their concerns
Promote Bumble and Badoo as personable brands and embody our core mission and values - ensuring our members feel heard and cared for

Our take

Since launching in 2014, Bumble has been one of the fastest growing dating apps in the world. It now boasts over 12.3 million monthly active users, and is consistently in the top 10 of lifestyle apps in the US.

Bumble's founder was a co-founder and VP of Marketing at Tinder (she ultimately left among allegations of sexism at the company). This would have given her great insights and experience into the dating market as it began to come online - enabling the company to build for what people want.

Bumble's selling point, as it competes with a pile of other dating apps, is that is empowers women to make the first move by giving them the ability to control the conversation. This has certainly proved popular, and is no doubt one of the reasons behind its success so far.
