Who you are

Collaborative, resourceful, and quality-driven
4+ years of professional software development experience
Proficient across the full development lifecycle: coding, reviews, source control, testing, and operations
Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
Deep experience with relational databases (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres)
Solid understanding of scalable, distributed system design principles

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

What the job involves

Join DoubleVerify’s cross-functional Streaming TV team and help build solutions that enable advertisers to reach audiences across leading streaming platforms. In this role, you’ll design and deliver scalable backend services and data-intensive applications that power our Streaming TV product suite
We're a technology-driven company tackling complex challenges with modern tools to build highly scalable systems. Our team develops products used directly by clients and deeply integrated with the AdTech ecosystem
Design and develop services that integrate with internal and external systems
Build data processing applications that handle and enrich billions of daily ad events
Review code, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices
Collaborate in Agile teams to design, build, test, and support technical solutions
Continuously release features using automated infrastructure-as-code deployment tools
Investigate system issues, debug, and resolve production incidents

Our take

The importance of digital advertising continues to grow, but it can be difficult for companies to protect their brand identity online. DoubleVerify solves this problem using software that monitors campaign performance in real-time.

Since it was first launched, DoubleVerify has successfully carved out an impressive market share, and now boasts customers such as digital advertising giant Facebook as long-time customers. Its success is largely owed to the quality of its technology, which far outperforms that of its rivals. DoubleVerify has consolidated its success by expanding the range of languages its tools support. It has also expanded into new markets such as Australia and New Zealand, a key indicator of the company’s continued growth.

The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. But with a 2021 IPO, several recent rounds of funding and new product releases, it looks set to tackle its competitors head on and stay ahead of the game.
