Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, AI, and building scalable systems, with a passion for leveraging these technologies to transform the insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their application to software development
- Proven ability to design and architect scalable, distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with multi-threaded systems
- Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field
- Familiarity with Twilio's communication APIs and their integration with software systems
- Contributions to open-source projects or communities

- Integration with Twilio: Integrate Twilio's communication APIs into our platform to enable seamless customer interactions
- Technology Stack: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software development landscape
- This is a hybrid position, and employees are expected to come into our Playa Vista, CA office every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
