Who you are

This high-impact, high-visibility role is ideal for someone with experience in B2B SaaS, cloud platforms, and spatial analytics or GIS technologies
6-10+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategy roles (SaaS/data/analytics preferred)
Proven success growing cloud and tech partnerships with measurable revenue impact
Familiarity with Cloud Marketplaces, Software and Data-as-a-Service (Saas, DaaS) models
Personal contact network at key Cloud providers such as Google Cloud and Databricks
Strong relationship builder with consultative selling and partner enablement experience
Skilled in negotiation, partner metrics, and cross-functional leadership
Comfortable presenting to internal execs and external stakeholders — virtually and in person
High-performing, self-starter with a flexible, fast-paced mindset
Experience with spatial analytics or GIS strongly preferred
North American and International partner management experience a plus

What the job involves

We’re seeking a strategic and commercially driven Partner Manager to grow CARTO’s partner-sourced pipeline across the US. You’ll own relationships with top cloud partners, leading joint go-to-market initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
Serve as day-to-day contact for key cloud partners to drive revenue and solution adoption
Manage and expand existing partnerships, while identifying and onboarding new ones
Execute joint GTM strategies and growth plans with clear revenue goals and KPIs
Drive CARTO’s presence across cloud Marketplaces (Google Cloud and, Databricks)
Lead internal cross-functional efforts across Sales, Marketing, CS, Product & Engineering
Evangelize CARTO externally and represent partner needs internally
Analyze partner performance, resolve escalations, and surface growth opportunities
Own commercial negotiations and contract processes with partners

Spatial analysis data is highly valuable to most industries, but making use of such data can be tough. If a business wants to make actionable insights based on this information, they generally must employ data scientists that specialize in location intelligence, a complicated role that is expensive to fund.

Carto provides a cloud-native location intelligence platform, facilitating the storage, enrichment, analysis and visualization of spatial analysis data, without the need to employ specialists. The company claims that its users can access 70% of location-related data that is currently not used to drive decision making, allowing them to gain an edge in a variety of markets including logistics, retail, fintech and healthcare.

Carto has taken a unique approach by recognizing the complications that come with interpreting first-hand spatial data, making it simpler for data scientists to visualize data without having expertise in the subject area. It continues to bolster its offering with new capabilities, such as AI agents to improve decision making.
