Who you are

4+ years of professional experience in AWS and its services
Linux system administration
Good understanding of technologies behind Internet services at every level
Good knowledge about Docker and orchestration (ECS, EKS)
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Github Actions, ArgoCD, AWS Codepipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild)
Observability platform is your best friend (logs, metrics and traces)
Ensure reliability, scalability and resilience from a Devops point of view
Security by default is your credo
Good understanding of Networking (DNS, IPv4, Subnetting, Routing…)
Scripting skills (Go, Python, bash)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Fluency in English

Desirable

Experience maintaining ECS & Kubernetes clusters in production
Experience with Grafana
AWS certifications
Terraform certification

Work with our engineering teams to design and implement the best cloud based solutions
Use your problem solving skills to find, solve and prevent issues
Lead and develop best practices for engineering

Build the new Kantox infrastructure
Proactively improve and modify our present and future infrastructure
Collaborate with software engineers to implement new solutions

Our take

Spanish fintech company, Kantox helps corporations manage currency through automation. Founded by ex-Deloitte consultants, Kantox switched from being a currency exchange platform into a fully fledged automation and fintech software company.

Back in 2015, Kantox won the European Fintech Of The Year Award, thanks in part to its Dynamic Hedging software which manages hedging analytics, workflow, and reporting. In October 2022, investment bank BNP Paribas acquired Kantox for 120 million euros after three years of investment in the company - a shift in ownership that should bolster Kantox as markets continue to be turbulent.
