Venue People Operations Intern, Cosm

• We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Venue People Operations Intern to join our Venues team
• Junior or Senior at the start of the program
• Available to work in a Cosm Venue and Cosm Office as needed
• Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Interest in a career in People Operations
• Interest in immersive technology and content

• This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions specific to our one-of-a-kind Cosm venues and provides an opportunity to learn about the dynamic field of human resources within a fast-paced and supportive environment
• Assist in completing new hire paperwork and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain and update employee records and databases, keep communication boards current and up to date, and update break room communication
• Assist with HR-related correspondence, including offer letters, employment verifications, and other documents
• Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
• Handle inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general questions
• Help organize employee appreciation events and activities to promote a positive work culture
• Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Support HR audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes
• Generate HR reports and metrics as needed for analysis and decision-making
• Assist with job postings and manage job boards
• Screen resumes and schedule interviews
• Assist with recruitment materials and events
• Help facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation processes
• Support HR initiatives related to staff events and training sessions
• Review and follow up with outstanding payroll items to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Gain hands-on experience with projects that contribute directly to company goals & building your resume
• Gain valuable access to Cosm leadership, including our CEO
