Who you are
- Proven experience as a successful Sales Operations leader or in a similar leadership role
- Extensive experience in sales target setting, forecasting, territory planning & alignments, and incentive compensation strategy and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to optimize sales processes and implement sales technologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration and influence management skills
- High ethics and integrity
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote role
- Requires BS/BA degree. MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations or commercial operations, preferably in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry
What the job involves
- The Director, Sales Operations is responsible for proactively providing strategic leadership and direction to our sales operations function, leading and coordinating critical sales operations activities, including sales reporting & analytics, incentive compensation, sales force sizing/targeting/deployment and sales forecasting
- They design, develop and ensure successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient change management process is in place for launch
- This role involves collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Market Access, Finance and HR to ensure efficient and compliant sales processes
- This position reports directly to the Vice President, Commercial Operations
- You'll lead overall Sales Operations strategy, planning, direction and development of integrated processes
- Proactively analyze and optimize end-to-end sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Build and provide timely, accurate analysis/reports of sales data to assist in market understanding, sales targeting, sales growth, performance trends and aid business decision making
- Develop sales force structure, deployment & productivity models and optimal territory alignments to increase operational efficiency and sales potential
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop efficient and accurate sales forecasts and plans

Our take
HeartFlow was founded in 2007 and is a medical equipment manufacturer that uses CT-scanned 3D modelling to assess and analyze a patient's arteries. This noninvasive process can help assess the risks of heart disease and strategize the appropriate treatment.
HeartFlow has had a long history of awards and innovations. In 2021, it brought its technology to the NHS in England and in October 2022, introduced a plaque analysis service. As time has gone on, Heartflow has indicated that it is keeping up with technological advances and finding new ways to provide heart health services through them.
HeartFlow successfully launched its IPO in 2021 but faced a setback when its merger with Longview Acquisitions was called off in 2022 due to unfavourable market conditions. Despite this, the company has made a strong comeback and recently unveiled its next-generation plaque analysis AI, demonstrating its continued commitment to innovation and growth.
