- Our ideal candidate will have a combination of strategic product marketing expertise, deep technical and industry knowledge, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills

- You seek to deeply understand customer needs to inform product positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
- You excel at building effective sales messaging that showcases customer success and demonstrates the product’s impact
- You are a natural collaborator who enjoys working with customers and internal teammates to define and convey our value proposition in the market (getting live user feedback and leveraging customer insights to influence the product roadmap excites you)
- You are data-driven and find opportunities to implement and track key product marketing metrics
- Your innovation and creativity fuels you to do your best work
- You genuinely enjoy dissecting problems, questioning existing practices, and introducing new ideas without sacrificing speed for quality
- You have a high clock speed and can ramp quickly on new customers and market landscapes
- You strive to thoroughly understand the product, personas, and market trends to craft and refine your messaging to appropriate audiences
- You’re mission-oriented and passionate about serving our customers in the public safety sector and expanding markets
- You stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in product marketing to continuously improve messaging strategies
- 5+ years of proven experience in product marketing, particularly at early-stage companies
- Experience defining and driving product marketing for B2B technology products in complex, fast-moving markets
- Comfortable building from 0-1 in ambiguity
- Proactively identify creative opportunities for the business and our customers
- Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting demands while leading multiple simultaneous P0 projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrating credibility and influence with colleagues at all company levels
- Located in San Francisco, willing to come into the office 3x/week in a hybrid capacity

- As a critical organization member, our Sr. Product Marketing Manager will help build the foundation for a world-class product marketing function.
- Partnering closely with the product, deployment, and customer advocacy teams, you will be responsible for:
- 1) defining and communicating product-market fit
- 2) equipping Sales, Marketing, and Customer Advocacy teams with essential competitive insights, positioning, and enablement materials (e.g., user scenarios, case studies, and demo assets), and
- 3) informing product alignment through market insight and trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights
Our take
With the digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. Funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
