Commercial Counsel, Confluent

• The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with SaaS contracts and supporting a sales organization
• 5+ years of experience in technology transactions
• Specific experience negotiating SaaS subscription agreements, license and
• Support agreements, and professional services agreements with large enterprise
• Customers
• Experience with open source licensing and business models
• Experience negotiating privacy terms, including DPAs
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal organizations to resolve
• Questions and concerns
• Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to use sound judgment to address complex issues while maintaining an
• Appropriate balance between legal and business requirements
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with demanding requests, work
