Senior Financial Revenue Analyst, Uplight

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue analysis, or a related function— experience with SaaS/recurring revenue preferred
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to transfer analysis into actionable insights
• Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling principles
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Salesforce

• We are looking for a Senior Financial Revenue Analyst to drive our company forward, and help us lead the clean energy revolution!
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including revenue modeling for multiple lines of business used for strategic planning by our management and board
• Partner with Business Organizations across Uplight (Sales, Operations, Accounting, etc) to strategize our pipeline analysis and forecasting
• Calculate & analyze revenue metrics across multiple views—including Net Revenue Retention, Churn, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)—to support financial planning and strategic insight
• Analyze revenue actual-to-forecast trends and variances on a monthly basis to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with the Revenue Accounting team to identify and drive revenue optimization opportunities and projects
• Contribute to continuous process improvements for financial reporting and data automation
• As part of the Finance team, assist with ad hoc financial analysis in other areas of the business
• Supplement our pricing and margin modeling support for new customer contracts, including scenario modeling as needed
