Role
Who you are
- Proven experience working with PHP, MySQL and JavaScript
- Good understanding of web development principles, architecture, and best practices
- Proven experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of relational database design and query optimization
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices
- Some experience with Nodejs
Desirable
- Running workloads in AWS
- Docker usage
- Caching techniques (e.g. Redis, memcached)
- Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems including basic Bash scripting
What the job involves
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using a combination of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to help and mentor junior team members
- Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, MySQL and JavaScript
- Following and implementing best practices in software development, including OOP design, coding standards and testing
- Optimizing application performance for scalability and speed
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Assist in designing and conducting training sessions for junior developers
