Who you are
- This role is perfect for someone with a bias for execution, experience across partnerships and affiliate channels who wants to move fast and make a difference
- Delivery of impact: You know how to run campaigns that drive impact and are excited to bring that to GoCardless
- Data-driven decision making: We want our growth team to be focussed on delivering valuable acquisitions at a defined cost. You’ll be able to analyse data and early indicators to understand which campaigns to scale and why
- High agency: You can distil insights and are excited to create & improve on campaigns using data you’ve gathered
- Industry knowledge - performance marketing experience in B2B, or within financial services (challenger banks, insurance) would be a bonus
What the job involves
- This role will be working within the Integrated Marketing team
- The Integrated Marketing team work to bring GoCardless to more self-serve customers across all our markets
- This means helping them discover the benefits of GoCardless to them and bringing them onto our platform
- We have ambitious targets to hit in the coming year which you’ll help us achieve!
- We’re looking for an eager growth executive to work closely with the Affiliates manager to drive acquisition in our international markets predominantly via partners & affiliates
- You’ll also be working cross-functionally with teams across GoCardless to achieve our goals
- You’ll have the freedom and agency to experiment, test and learn across campaigns to drive impact across the business
- Driving acquisition and volume: Being relentlessly focused on understanding and solving the customer problems which result in them using GoCardless as much as they can
- Experimentation and scaling: Understanding our core customers and finding creative ways to drive them through the funnel to become GoCardless customers
- Data-led decision-making: Using quantitative and qualitative evidence to support your decisions and identify growth opportunities
- Seeing & communicating impact: Creating campaigns that move the needle and celebrating successes

- Given the large number of hires we have been making in recent months, we have continuously reviewed both our hiring processes and channels to eliminate bias. We’ve introduced programs that attract diverse talent and we continuously seek to create hiring experiences that are fair, transparent and accessible by all
- We are working on creating a transparent framework for how we grow and develop talent in a scaling organisation. This will include bringing more clarity on internal career opportunities and provide clear expectations on the behaviours we want to see aligned to our values and commitment to building an inclusive organisation
- We have introduced systematic processes to help ensure compensation decisions are data-driven, fair and competitive. We have also invested in Reward capability and expertise to ensure we bring pay equity into every step of the employee journey
- Thanks to these employee-led groups we have been able to further our efforts in voluntary diversity data collection this year, to develop support for parents and carers, offer community mentoring opportunities in partnership with Career Accelerator, help to raise awareness and empathy during significant events of the past year, and importantly, offer more employees a community of people with whom they share experiences and interests
- To strengthen our commitment to D&I we have recently appointed our first Director of Diversity & Inclusion, an experienced culture change leader, which will allow us to have a more strategic and systematic approach to building a diverse and inclusive organisation for the long term and as we scale
- The Director will work with the executive team and ERGs to define clear D&I targets that GoCardless will commit to achieving over the next three years, and to develop a structured roadmap of initiatives aligned with those targets
