Who you are

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

Desirable

Two years of experience designing and developing complex software systems using Java, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming
Three years of experience using Python to build AI applications
6 months of experience with using TensorFlow to build and train machine learning models
6 months of experience with Natural Language Processing
6 months of experience performing data analysis using Pandas

What the job involves

Write, quality, high performance, and maintainable back-end code while focusing on scalability, security, cross-browser compatibility, web standards, interoperability, and accessibility
Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues
Improve existing software products and develop distributed software systems powering eBay’s websites
Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmaps
Develop groundbreaking services, using best practices, to meet user’s needs
Evaluate user needs and translate them into viable software designs and products
40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
