- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic frontend engineering team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Carewell's digital presence
- 5+ years experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, or equivalent experience demonstrating your expertise in front-end development
- Demonstrates attention to detail, maintaining structured and organized code and component libraries, with shared responsibility for maintaining concise and understandable code
- Hands-on experience in e-commerce storefront development, showcasing your ability to build and optimize online shopping experiences is a plus
- Deep knowledge of React, Typescript, Next.js and their capabilities, particularly in creating highly cacheable pages and optimizing performance
- A strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, coupled with the ability to implement performance optimizations that deliver measurable results
- Commitment to creating accessible web experiences and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong proficiency with common web technologies and integrations: CMS (Contentful, Builder), Google Tag Manager, Design Language System (Storybook), automated UI testing (Selenium, Playwright)

- Be a pivotal member of the development team for a highly performant, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly website, ensuring that our caregivers have access to a seamless and informative digital platform
- Create highly cacheable pages that deliver lightning-fast load times and exceptional user experiences using React, Typescript, and Next.js
- Implement SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase Carewell's online visibility
- Ensure the new site experience adheres to web accessibility standards, making it inclusive and usable for all caregivers
- Design and implement clean, testable, reusable components
- Work closely with fellow engineers, designers, and product managers to bring the new site vision to life, while also providing guidance
- KPIs:
- Site performance metrics: Significant page load times, Core Web Vitals, and overall site speed improvements
- SEO performance: Increased organic traffic, higher search engine rankings, and improved keyword visibility
- User engagement: Enhanced user satisfaction, increased time on site, and reduced bounce rates
- Accessibility compliance: Full adherence to WCAG guidelines and other accessibility standards
