Who you are

A relevant Master/ PhD
At least 2 years of experience at a similar position
Excellent oral and written English communication skills. (Minimum C1 level-proficient user)
Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about ML and NLP
The intellectual curiosity to keep learning new things
The honesty and integrity to know what you know and admit what you don’t
The ability to clearly advocate for a particular approach, and explain why
A tech stack that includes some or all of: Python, cloud (AWS), Git, CI/CD, containerization, DAGs, APIs, ML platforms, Deep Learning frameworks
Experience with Deep Learning NLP models in production is a plus
A Git profile that shows off your capabilities and interests is highly appreciated

What the job involves

Clarity AI is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help us develop and deploy our NLP models at scale, so that we can continue to deliver the best quality sustainability data to our customers and partners
Machine Learning models are an integral part of Clarity AI’s strategy to provide transparent, accurate, consistent and high coverage metrics for impact investing, as efficiently as possible
Developing NLP models and pipelines to continue to improve our data and products
Working as part of a team using best practices (Git, CI/CD)
Keeping up to date with the latest developments in NLP and MLE
Developing components of complex systems

Clarity AI provides a solution for this through big data and machine learning - training its algorithm on data from more than 30,000 companies.

Asset Managers from across the world now use Clarity AI to understand the impact of their portfolio leveraging ESG data. It provides the relevant information to allow businesses to efficiently and confidently assess, analyze and report on anything valuable, all in line with everything required by regulation, related to sustainability.

The startup is already integrated into BlackRock’s Aladdin platform and will use new capital to continue developing its technology and to expand into new geographies and segments with strategic senior hires in all growth areas, including sales, marketing and partnerships.
