What the job involves
- Installing and configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
- Implementing and testing network connections
- Configuring and testing optics, AOC, and DAC connections
- Creating and maintaining accurate network documentation
- Performing post-installation testing and verification
- Working with Design Engineers to implement planned layouts
- Diagnosing and resolving network hardware issues
- Performing preventive maintenance on installed equipment
- Supporting incident resolution for critical network issues
