Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, and who’s excited to work at the intersection of sales, marketing, and relationship management
- 2+ years of experience in account coordination, sales support, or customer-facing roles
- Great at managing multiple moving parts, prioritizing tasks, and staying organized
- Confident communicator & able to build relationships across teams and with customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Comfortable navigating data (Excel/Google Sheets) and translating insights into action
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Familiarity with retail backend systems such as Shopify or CRMs is a plus
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
What the job involves
- The B2B Account Coordinator will support Yoto’s North American B2B initiatives and play a crucial part in managing relationships with our retail partners
- Yoto’s B2B team is dedicated to building strong relationships with retailers, educators, and more, to help bring our unique audio experiences to families across the world
- Work directly under our NA B2B Account Manager on facilitating Yoto’s North American B2B initiatives
- Serve as the primary contact for all inbound B2B requests, escalating specific requests as needed
- Manage day-to-day communication for Yoto’s independent retailers, and education/hospital partners
- Support the full B2B partner lifecycle, from onboarding new accounts to supporting reorders and product questions
- Track data on B2B sales and customers, pulling regular reports and presenting insights to the broader commercial team
- Develop expertise in Yoto products, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide informed support
- Coordinate with B2B Marketing Manager on scheduled communications, newsletters, B2B promotions, and other marketing opportunities
- Work with Yoto’s Operations team to continually improve the Yoto Partner user experience
- Potential to support outbound sales activities and retailer prospecting
Our take
A key development in the last 5 years has been a move towards screen-based kids entertainment like apps and streaming services. However, more recently there have been concerns that excessive screen time for children can be damaging to health and development. So, many consumers are looking for alternative products which will expose children to modernity without the drawbacks of many modern devices. This is the demand which Yoto is setting out to capitalise on.
Yoto's product - a screen-free audio platform - enables children to access features such as audiobooks, podcasts, and soundscapes via physical cards inserted into the device. The Yoto Player has received considerable early praise from consumers and from investors also, who granted Yoto considerable funding.
Perhaps the most difficult challenge for a business operating in the highly competitive children's toys market is keeping its product current. However, Yoto's software is fully customisable, meaning that alongside its library of content, parents can add their own audio files to the device to suit the interests of their children. This imbibes Yoto with a customisability that gives it an edge, especially as children's tastes change with age.
