What the job involves
- Be fully responsible for the advancement of a suite of products, targeted at independent retailers
- Work closely with users, our customers and internal teams to identify user needs
- Develop a cohesive strategy that enables us to gain adoption among independent retailers and to help power their businesses through our offering
- Understand our technological capabilities and constraints, and combine these with an understanding of user needs to develop groundbreaking solutions
- Write concise product specifications and work closely with the engineering team to refine these to ensure fast and efficient development
- Build a deep technical understanding of the product to discuss design decisions with engineering
- Coordinate all aspects of the projects you are responsible for, through the entire development cycle
- Collect and use data to make decisions, which may include complex analyses and A/B testing

Our take
Leap Tools is an AR visualisation platform that helps retail customers visualise the products they want to buy within their own homes. Using augmented reality, it purports to increase eCommerce conversion rates by five times and increase web transactions by 10%.
Through its visualisation app Roomvo, Leap Tools can show what products - mainly homeware and furniture - will look like alongside people's other possessions. The idea is to turn potential customers into real customers because they don't have to rely on their imagination.
This simple solution solves a leading problem in eCommerce at a time when the majority of all shopping journeys begin, if not end, online. Leap Tools made its way onto Deloitte’s Fast 500 and Fast 50 for Canada in 2022, indicating a real interest in the product visualization software.
