Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of product management experience, in data-driven or ML/AI-related products
- 2+ years of industry experience within the fields of open finance/credit bureau/fintech/gaming
- Demonstrable track record of delivering well-adopted user experiences and product features
- Experience leading empowered cross-functional teams of UX and engineering
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling
- A data-driven analytical mindset by walking through recent examples of delivering value through product development
- Ability to craft compelling narratives using data to influence product strategy and secure stakeholder buy-in
- A good understanding of how to utilise data visualisation tools to track performance of product development
- Experience working with product discovery frameworks (e.g. JTBD)
What the job involves
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, software developers, and UX teams to deliver scalable, impactful solutions
- Ensure that ethical AI principles, data governance, and responsible ML practices are embedded into the product lifecycle
- Communicate progress to key stakeholders, including necessary escalations or key changes impacting other departments such as operations or risk
- Create key product metrics, monitor performance over time, leverage analytics to uncover insights, and deliver feature improvements that add value
- Maintain the product strategy by staying current with trends in payments, credit decisioning, machine learning and open banking
- Utilise known product frameworks to justify the prioritisation of key problem statements
- Promote product-led thinking within the company by working collaboratively with the rest of the product team to shape the culture
