Who you are
- We are searching for a native German speaker
- German is your first language, and you also speak fluent English. Speaking French is a massive bonus
- Strong understanding of the German market and consumer behavior. Your role will be key in instilling German culture within Wecasa
- Your copywriting skills in German are excellent
- Background in communications/marketing or start-ups
- Team spirit: You will be working with different teams and freelancers, so being a team player and adaptable is essential
- Creative mindset: Propose innovative ideas to address current challenges
- Organisation & determination: You strive for success even when faced with setbacks
- Project management: ability to multi-task and serve as the key point of reference for German projects across various stakeholders
What the job involves
- As an International Brand Manager, you will join the Brand team and work hand-in-hand with the other International Brand Manager (Emma, your manager) to help launch Wecasa in Germany, and make it a success
- You will be the point of reference for Germany and will also assist with tasks for the other non-French markets (currently the UK)
- You will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to execute brand strategies that enhance our visibility, attract new customers, and retain existing ones
- Marketing research
- Assist in developing and implementing brand strategies and marketing campaigns tailored to the German market
- Monitor branding and marketing developments in the German market and share relevant insights to stakeholders
- Content management
- Responsible for all written content (website, social media, newsletters, press releases)
- Ensure consistency in the tone of voice across all touchpoints
- Create and regularly update the German Brand Book
- PR & Influencers
- Handle discussions with local influencers and local press with the help of freelancers
- Stay updated on current market trends to create German-specific content
- Respond to journalists’ enquiries
- Pro Community
- Organise events to better engage with our German professionals
- Partner with brands to offer discounts to professionals
- AOB
- Track branding KPIs and provide recommendations if needed
- Assist with similar tasks for the UK market and potentially other markets

Treatments like massages, facials, and hair make up a sizeable chunk of this market, but in recent years the traditional brick-and-mortar salon model has struggled greatly. Providers are increasingly finding that consumer habits have shifted, with many consumers now demanding treatments that fit around more busy lifestyles and a growing work-from-home culture.
Wecasa offers a solution to this. Its platform is essentially a marketplace for local hair, beauty, massage, and cleaning professionals, all of whom offer at-home treatments for Wecasa's customers.
By taking advantage of this rising trend, it's no surprise that Wecasa has seen impressive growth since its founding in 2015, and as a result, the company has received considerable funding. Wecasa is now targeting expansion, both in its current French and UK markets, and then into entirely new European countries.
