Who you are
- Approximately 5 years’ experience in public practice, financial advisory or corporate development
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or equivalent
- Experience in supporting or executing mergers & acquisitions, business valuations or transaction services a benefit
What the job involves
- Leading execution of Axis M&A transactions and own the various activities in the lifecycle of a deal from initial negotiations until close
- Creating financial models, valuation models, and M&A data books on potential acquisitions
- Leading and performing financial due diligence on M&A activities, including internal quality of earning analysis
- Managing buyside data-site and work with vendors and axis functional leads on preparation and review of due diligence material
- Preparing deal memos / investment overviews of potential targets to support Axis stakeholder governance
- Facilitating discussions with vendors and internal stakeholders on post-LOI due diligence
- Working with Axis functional leads to prepare for seamless integration of acquisitions and an efficient transition to the business integration team
- Supporting the corporate development team in various activities to manage the M&A funnel
- Providing mentorship and guidance to financial analyst
- Note: Candidates with extensive experience and proven management expertise may be considered for the Senior Manager role, subject to further review and evaluation
