Role
Who you are
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and multi-account architectures
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation, AWS CDK a plus)
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Desirable
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows
- Exposure to cloud security posture tools (e.g., Wiz)
- Knowledge of cost optimization and tagging strategies
What the job involves
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform) for AWS account provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Implement automation for baseline security, compliance, and operational controls
- Develop and enhance self-service tooling for account creation and platform services
- Deliver structured AWS accounts with integrated capabilities for networking, security, compliance, cost optimization, reliability, and performance efficiency
- Create and maintain clear documentation, templates, and onboarding guides to simplify developer adoption
- Support developers by troubleshooting platform issues and providing enablement sessions
- Monitor and maintain platform health using observability tools (AWS CloudWatch, Datadog)
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of platform reliability
- Contribute to the enforcement of operational standards and guardrails
- Work from a product backlog, prioritizing tasks that maximize developer outcomes and platform adoption
- Collaborate with security, finance, and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
- Gather feedback from users and turn it into actionable platform improvements
