- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as: finance, data analysis, quantitative analysis, economics, business administration, statistics
- 4+ years of relevant financial analysis and reporting experience with fast-paced business environments
- Progress towards a professional designation like CFA or MBA may be an asset but not a deciding factor
- Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets. QUERY, INDEX, Scripts (Google Scripts, can be learned), Nested IF functions (at least 3 deep), XLOOKUP, TEXTJOIN, FILTER, SUMPRODUCT, SORT, UNIQUE
- Ability to quickly learn and use various financial systems (e.g., ERPs, FP&A planning software, etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data
- Capable of identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present financial information to various audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Statistical knowledge

What the job involves
- We are searching for a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst III to join our growing finance team
- In this role, you will be an integral part of our financial planning and analysis operations
- You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, working with budgets and forecasts to provide insightful financial reporting and scenario analyses’ to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare and analyze financial information related to costs, prices, expenses, and revenues
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, to story tell financial performance with minimal direction required
- Creation of data visualizations and dashboards to monitor KPIs
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
- Monitor and analyze the company's short-term financial position
- Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- There are a couple of month end tasks required or ad-hoc as needed
- Prepare and present financial data to department heads and management
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Document processes and ensure compliance with internal controls

It’s no help that this group has historically been radically underserved by legacy banks, but now the tide is turning: many banking institutions are doubling down on improving the quality and efficiency of their commercial banking solutions, and software company FISPAN is helping them get there.
FISPAN helps companies embed their commercial banking services into the existing ERP or accounting software their customers use to run their business. It’s a great way for banks to outsource the level of innovation required to keep up with commercial client demand - and, therefore, a great way of competing with the more agile neobanks, who are siphoning off legacy banking clients in substantial numbers.
FISPAN’s astute positioning has made its platform increasingly attractive for banks under pressure to keep up with the break-neck pace of change in fintech. It’s taking advantage of it too, with plans to expand to the lucrative European and Asian Pacific banking markets.
