Role
Who you are
- A successfully completed degree in law, business administration or a related field (within the EU) with a focus on compliance
- A Master's degree or relevant certification in compliance is an advantage
- Several years of relevant professional experience ideally in the field of regulatory affairs, compliance and financial services
- Dynamic and confident demeanor as well as a strong service orientation
- Independent working style, but also the ability to work well in a team
- High attention to detail, (self-)organization skills and strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and very good communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of how legal requirements can be implemented in practice
- Business fluent in German and English is required; knowledge of Dutch and/or Swedish is an advantage
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support our legal team with exciting tasks such as monitoring, implementing various national legal requirements in processes and reviewing them, taking over legal quality and risk management in cooperation with colleagues from other departments, reviewing and negotiating contracts with service providers and complaints management
- Supporting, documenting and monitoring debt collection regulations and requirements and their national implementation in all our entities in collaboration with other departments
- Supporting, documenting and monitoring the national requirements for the provision of credit services, including future applications and regular audits of the owners of significant investments; acting as the point of contact for the relevant (financial) supervisory authorities and other relevant departments to manage the proper execution of these requirements
- Examination and negotiation of contracts as well as monitoring and regular review with regard to outsourcing companies/contract processors/other service providers of the Group, including corresponding documentation
- Support, perspective takeover of risk investigations, assessments and corresponding documentation Legal contact person for Internal Audit; legal support for audits
- Support with intercompany compliance and other specialist areas (e.g. drawing up contracts with clients and implementing specified requirements)
- Complaint management, including monitoring deadlines, drafting statements and cooperation with other departments to determine the facts and review technical and organizational measures
- Providing internal training on compliance and supporting the entire Group with compliance-related issues

Debt collection is a process that has remained stagnant for decades and has not been innovated upon past simple developments such as digital payment plans. PAIR Finance has therefore found a unique niche in the market by investigating what makes customers avoid paying their debts, how to make them more open to doing so, and using machine learning to develop frictionless debt collection strategies.
