Senior Backend Developer, Autodesk

• The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems, as well as expertise in modern DevOps practices and tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in backend system development
• Strong proficiency in modern backend frameworks, such as Java and Spring
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
• Understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and load balancing
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc., and how to deploy and manage applications on them

• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Ensure high availability and reliability of services through automated monitoring and alerting
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development and DevOps
• Ensure the quality of the backend codebase through code reviews, automated testing, and other quality control measures
