Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of experience in a Cloud/SaaS company, a passion for cutting-edge technology and a commitment to building resilient, scalable systems that support our success
- Expert knowledge of microservices architecture and design
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred) and AWS ECS
- Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL database management
- Expert-level experience with AWS cloud services
- Hands-on experience with ISO 27001 / SOC2 compliance and audit initiatives
- Proficient in Linux systems and internals
- Experience in high-availability environments with a focus on scalability and resilience
- 6+ years of experience in setting up and maintaining cloud environments
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Shell and Python
- Hands-on experience with cost optimization, security, and automation in cloud environments
- Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team environment
- US Citizen only for this role
Desirable
- Experience with workflow/orchestration engines
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture
- Prior experience in a startup environment
- Experience building and supporting highly available (99.999% uptime) systems
- Knowledge of streaming infrastructure technologies
- Experience designing and maintaining auto-scalable microservices
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools is a plus
- Experience with OWASP security practices or CISSP certification
- Hands-on experience with ECS/Fargate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus

- We seek an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and enhance our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of mission-critical applications
- In this role, you will design and implement robust DevOps solutions, fostering a continuously delivered microservices environment
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and innovation, ensuring rapid deployment and immediate response to issues
- Design and implementation of elastically scalable infrastructure solutions
- Define, enforce, and continuously improve stringent security standards across all systems
- Design systems for business continuity, ensuring resilience and disaster recovery capabilities
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, metrics, and alert systems to ensure high availability
- Evaluate, recommend, and adopt the most appropriate and up-to-date technologies for the organization
- Ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices within an Agile/Scrum environment while responding to urgent operational needs
- Maintain and promote high standards of work quality across the team, driving best practices
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by encouraging the exploration of new tools, technologies, and processes
