What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Central Operations you will partner with Operational Leaders to guide all strategic external development processes and reporting for EA SPORTS
- You will also partner with many internal EA teams including External Development Intelligence (XDI), Talent Acquisition & Finance to provide the resources & metrics needed to promote growth & scalability
- You will be an escalation point for our teams and 3rd party development teams when production issues need resolution. You will be collaborative and excel at working with many teams
- Build partnerships including establishing trust and credibility within EA SPORTS and Vendor studios around the globe
- Guide collaboration with EA SPORTS Operations leaders to understand outsourcing requirements and provide guidance on how external resources can be used
- Guide collaboration with EA’s External Development Intelligence team (XDI) and content teams such as Global Resourcing and Business Operations as the EA SPORTS Central Operations primary contact for external development
- In partnership with XDI and Development Teams, manage partnerships with external outsourcing partners, ensuring they understand our project needs, timelines, and quality standards
- Create an EA SPORTS External Development performance dashboard to ensure useful tracking and reporting information such as indicators for important elements of the business
- Report assigned distributed development budgets including short and long-term forecasts
- Analyze and provide insights into the balance between internal and external resourcing types to improve cost-efficiency
- Help improve all distributed development processes including using the best tools, review practices and collaborative relationships
- Report status at regular intervals, escalate urgent issues promptly
- Seek knowledge and develop process improvements and apply them to improve us
- Communicate with all partners and coordinate dependencies with external partners
- Facilitate contracting process as the intermediary support between external vendors, Legal and Finance
