- We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated professional who can take ownership of the management accounting function. The ideal candidate will be studying towards, or recently qualified with, CIMA or ACCA. You should be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, implementing process improvements, and providing clear, insightful financial analysis to support the business

- How You Will Fit Into the Finance Team
- Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will join the company at an exciting stage of growth, overseeing the finance function and supporting strategic decision-making. You will ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting, complete reconciliations, and provide actionable analysis to senior stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to shape processes, drive financial discipline, and influence business decisions in a fast-growing environment

You should be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, implementing process improvements, and providing clear, insightful financial analysis to support the business
- Month / Year-End Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliations and providing basic analysis of performance against budgets and forecasts
- Analyse and reconcile financial information, identifying trends and anomalies
- Provide monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance to budget and forecast, highlighting key drivers
- Support the preparation of management reporting packs for senior leadership
- Maintain and update financial models and sales dashboards for performance monitoring
- Act as the key contact for external auditors during statutory audits and annual reporting cycles
- Note: Due to tight reporting deadlines for shareholders, annual leave will generally not be approved during the first week of each month
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate cash-flow forecasts to support business planning
- Manage customer invoicing, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Conduct credit control and manage receivables to optimise cash collections
- Oversee supplier invoicing, approvals, and payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Conduct supplier and partner due diligence and assist with customer procurement applications where required
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams on monthly, quarterly, and annual commission statements
- Review and reconcile payrolls across multiple jurisdictions (UK, France, and EOR)
- Oversee and review all company credit card payments, managing transactions for subscriptions, travel, and office expenses
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Prepare and review UK and foreign VAT returns, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
- Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
