Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in Fintech or the Funds Industry
- Proven track record of delivering complex client onboarding or implementation projects
- Strong understanding of software development processes and project lifecycle methodologies
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
What the job involves
- We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Client Onboarding initiatives
- This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of Fund Recs software for new clients, involving multiple stakeholders and development teams
- You will be responsible for planning, tracking, and delivering onboarding projects, ensuring all milestones are met and stakeholders are aligned and accountable
- The role will involve working across the business and liaising with the Client Solutions, Product, Engineering & Go to Market Teams internally as well as having a significant portion of time spent client facing
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding projects, ensuring successful delivery of Fund Recs software solutions on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying key milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Client Solutions, Product, Engineering, and external client stakeholders
- Track development work required for onboarding and ensure it aligns with project timelines and commercial commitments
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and risk assessments
- Run Monthly Steer Co meetings for large-scale projects, ensuring strategic alignment and visibility
- Ensure accountability across all stakeholders and escalate issues where necessary
- Monitor progress against plan and proactively manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources
- Protect against scope creep by maintaining clear documentation, change control processes, and stakeholder alignment
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure development deliverables meet client expectations and contractual obligations
- Provide clear and timely communication to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in project delivery
- Contribute to commercial success by ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, client satisfaction is high, and opportunities for upsell or expansion are identified and communicated
- This project manager will report directly to the COO
