Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in office coordination, workplace experience, or office management, plus 2+ years of hospitality experience
- You love the creative challenge of maintaining strong culture and engagement in our in-office environment

- Hyper-organized, structured, and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving simultaneously

What the job involves
- Merge is an in-person first workplace, so our office operations and experience are key to fostering a fun, thriving, and inclusive environment
- We’re seeking an experienced Office Manager based in NYC to oversee day-to-day office operations, lead employee events and in-office culture initiatives, and support our people across both offices
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our NYC office and oversee our SF office and Berlin co-working space, helping create an organized, welcoming, and efficient workspace for Mergies
- Manage front desk operations, office visitors, mail/packages, and act as the primary point of contact for the NYC office
- Plan and execute internal and external events that people rave about (company offsites, happy hours, parties, all hands, panels, fireside chats, etc.)
- Provide exceptional customer service - prompt responses to requests and inquiries, address concerns and solve problems to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Manage partnerships with building management, cleaning staff, and all other office vendors
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide great workplace and employee experience (e.g. onboarding)
- Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (such as moves, additions, changes to workspace) when needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and packages
- Submit work orders and schedule repairs for general office space and equipment maintenance, connecting with and escorting vendors
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by staying current with local health and safety requirements, emergency preparedness plans, first aid kits, and compliance signage
- Partner with the People team and other cross-functional teams to provide great workplace and employee experience (e.g. onboarding)
- Deliver ad-hoc projects as needed

This provides access to dozens of payroll, recruiting, accounting, and HR platforms using a single integration layer. This way, businesses can work with a large number of APIs without compromising on efficiency.
Merge was founded in 2020 and has already built a large client base for itself, including Deed, AngelList, Ramp and Reachdesk. It has also expanded into new areas, providing support for CRM tools, ticketing systems and project management functions. With an impressively escalating annual revenue, and considerable funding at its back, the company continues to build out its product into new verticals.
