5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management role targeting SMBs

What the job involves

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SMB Sales Manager to lead our Small and Medium Business sales team
This is a high-impact role critical to our next phase of growth
As a Sales Manager, you will own the performance, development, and success of a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring and expanding relationships with our partners and customers
Lead, coach, and develop a team of SMB sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
Build and execute go-to-market strategies for the SMB segment
Identify growth opportunities within the SMB market and develop initiatives to capture market share
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure team alignment with company goals
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize the sales funnel
Drive pipeline development through outbound prospecting and strategic partnerships
Manage forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis to improve decision-making and effectiveness
Maintain a strong understanding of our product offerings and industry trends to effectively position the value proposition to customers
Ensure a positive experience and smooth handoffs to the post-sales support team

Our take

Many people struggle to pay their rent every month, with a variety of bills hitting their bank accounts simultaneously. Whilst many of these people earn enough money to cover their bills, the inflexible nature of monthly bills can make the all-in-one payment a harder obstacle.

Flex provides a mobile application for the flexible payment of rent, allowing users to pay their landlords through flexible payment plans, reschedule payments when necessary, and protect their funds through Overdraft Protection. The company achieves this by partnering with estate agents and paying their resident's bills upfront, taking on the challenges that landlords would normally have due to late payments.

Flex has experienced extremely rapid growth since its founding which has caused some issues, as it struggled to keep up with the surge in new customers. Having made improvements to its product and scaled its customer service team, it is set to continue providing a service that has come to be highly valued by both tenants and landlords.
