Who you are
- Demonstrate interest in a career in construction, energy, and/or asset development
- Desire to work in a transaction-based environment where requirements and tight deadlines are often dictated by deal flow
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Primavera P6 v7 preferred
- Strong quantitative aptitude with an extremely high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work product
- Excellent personal organizational skills
- Highly resourceful and comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
- Construction management experience preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience, preferably within construction, engineering and/or development industry
- Previous Project Coordination experience desired
What the job involves
- The Project Coordinator will support construction efforts across a pipeline of projects targeting wholesale power markets in North America
- This is a long term, full time temporary opportunity
- Managing Internal Meetings by taking meeting minutes and distributing the minutes to internal and external parties as needed
- Managing Sub-contractor RFIs and Submittals
- Working directly with the design team and coordinating submittal package submission internally and externally
- Secure all warranties, lien waivers and compile them and file them as project records on timely basis
- Monitor progress of construction projects and ensure conformance to contract and help the Project Manager in preparing the PM reports with respect to cost, schedule, risk, logistics, performance, etc
- Assist in document management from EPCs
- Coordinate the Utility Interconnect and Inspection and assist the transmission team with any paperwork needed
- Assist the PM/CM with their list of duties
- Organize the documents in E-Builder per the project requirements and be on top of the document structure as needed
- Coordinate with the Owners Engineer on the requirements as needed and provide the support to the entire project team
- Work on collecting documents for the Independent Engineer along with manuals, instructions, safety docs
- Financial & Organizational Scope
- Project Budget Management: Sub-contractor/Material Invoice review, PO Management, Preparing Invoice Tracker and tracking the actual costs vs planned costs
- Reporting Relationships & Interactions
- Reports to Manager of, Project Management
- Coordinate with CM and sub-contractor to collect field test reports and AS BUILTS for the project
