Who you are
- An ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully building product marketing teams and programs to drive sales and category leadership
- This leader must have experience managing teams and multiple high-stakes projects, a passion for technology, and ability to effectively translate complex terms into value-based outcomes that resonate with our audience
- 8-10 years of relevant B2B product and solution marketing experience
- Direct experience in enterprise software industry and SaaS required, with international and high-growth startup experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of vertical marketing and solution marketing
- Proven results in driving high-impact GTM campaigns and programs
- Experience working directly with customers. Ability to engage with and influence customers and bring this back into your work
- Ability to build relationships with internal partners to understand and communicate business strategy
- Proven ability to effectively lead and mentor multiple team members
- A growth mindset and passion for building high-functioning teams
- Ability to strike the right balance can strike between strategy and execution
- A strong, clear writing style and voice, with excellent writing and editing skills
- A detail-oriented, analytical approach, with the ability to manage multiple, high-profile projects and deliverables
- BS/BA degree, MBA preferred

- We are a leader in Product Analytics but this is just a small part of what we do and where we are going
- We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director to develop a world-class product and solutions marketing go-to-market approach and capitalize on the exciting momentum in the market
- The Senior Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for setting the strategy, designing scalable programs, and creating relationships across their team and the company to further these goals
- This leader will collaborate with other senior internal stakeholders including Executives, Product Management, Customer Success, Comms and Business Operations to collaborate on, build and execute on our GTM strategy
- We’re looking for a strong leader who can strike the right balance between thoughtful strategy and impactful execution
- Lead and build Amplitude’s product marketing function to build mindshare amongst Product, Marketing and Data personas across the globe
- Lead a team of 3 Product Marketers, with the opportunity to grow and scale this over time
- Build and execute GTM strategy in collaboration with key teams to drive acquisition, retention and monetization vis a vis our customers
- Lead the development of use case and vertical messaging and positioning
- Interact with customers to drive and outside-in approach to what we build and execute
- Develop and build out value-based marketing and sales approach
- Leverage technology and agency partners to bolster GTM
- Drive strong narrative based on a refined buyer journey with customer stories and product thought leadership content

Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behaviour. Product, marketing, and growth teams use Amplitude to discover and share insights about user engagement, retention, and revenue.
Amplitude’s user flows reveal which actions are the most commonly taken after users sign up, and which usually precede purchases made in-app, creating paths through the app. The behaviour of individual app users can be viewed with unlimited real-time activity feeds and user timelines.
Thousands of companies use Amplitude analytics, including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos, Peloton, and many more. In 2024, a securities fraud case was filed against Amplitude due to an IPO and stock share rise that was alleged to be artificially inflated before their downturn in 2022. The case has since been resolved, and Amplitude continues to release new products and operate at full capacity.
