Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proven ownership of end-to-end data engineering projects
- Deep expertise in data modeling, including fact/dim tables, SCD2, and medallion/layered architectures
- Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and complex joins
- Proficient in Python (OOP, package management, testing) and Spark (performance tuning, delta operations, Spark UI)
- Experienced with Databricks, including streaming, Unity Catalog, and workspace administration
- Hands-on experience with API and S3 streaming ingestion (Kafka, Debezium, Hive partitioning)
- Working knowledge of DBT for data transformation and modeling
- Familiarity with financial and accounting datasets
- Understanding of compliance and security standards like SOC2
- Strong ability to translate technical processes for non-technical audiences
- Capable of working independently and mentoring junior engineers

- We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who’s passionate about building data infrastructure that drives business outcomes
- You’ll develop pipelines, data models, and dashboards that power decision-making across teams
- This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end projects and shape how data supports the business
- You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and business teams, bringing strong Python and SQL skills, plus experience with Databricks, Airflow, DBT, and Redshift

- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources
- Build and maintain data models using dimensional data modeling techniques
- Create insightful reports and dashboards to support business performance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support our data architecture transformation & migration efforts
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner
- Optimize query performance and implement best practices
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs
- Drive continuous improvement of data processes through automation and innovation
