Who you are
- Don’t worry if you haven’t worked with our technologies before - we value strong fundamentals and curiosity over specific tools
- If you’ve worked with languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, or Rust, you’ll be able to pick things up quickly
- Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in coding and solving technical problems
- Curiosity about how software systems work behind the scenes
- Experience with programming through university projects, internships, or personal projects

- You don’t need extensive industry experience - we’re looking for smart, curious engineers who want to learn fast and build meaningful systems
What the job involves
- You’ll be based in our London office, working closely with our Head of Platform Engineering and two Platform Engineers already based there
- This means you’ll be surrounded by engineers who can support your learning and help you grow quickly as you start your career
- While our platform team has a strong presence in London, our wider engineering team is globally distributed across Europe, South America, and the United States
- You’ll collaborate with teammates across time zones and gain exposure to how modern distributed engineering teams operate
- As a Graduate Platform Engineer, you’ll work on projects such as:
- Building internal tools that improve productivity across engineering, product, and growth teams
- Supporting the infrastructure behind our Growth Marketing Engine and Pulse platform
- Contributing to data pipelines and integrations with external financial data providers
- Developing APIs and backend services that support internal systems
- Building internal AI tools that help teams automate workflows and move faster
- Improving automation and developer tooling used across the engineering team
- Helping ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and scalable as we grow
- You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience with the infrastructure and systems that power a fast-growing fintech

Our take
Excel represents an essential tool used by finance professionals every day. According to LiveFlow, even though Excel was widely used in finance for the past 30 years, it's a standard tool that did not improve in time, thus it failed to adapt to the increasingly complex needs of finance professionals. The company aims to solve this problem by creating a modern Financial Management tool that aims to serve the needs of modern finance teams.
The founders first came up with the idea for LiveFlow after co-founder, Lasse, went bankrupt running his first business. Aiming to stop any other business having the same fate, LiveFlow was launched to ensure that clients have access to all of their financial information in one place.
The company differentiates itself through its proprietary technology that allows spreadsheets to automatically connect to the real-time data of users from Google Sheets, banks, and accounting platforms. LiveFlow already counts Nova Credit, Unfurl, Gorgias, and Olaf among its clients. Having closed a seed round in 2022, it continues to build a strong customer base and has seen many recent expansions.
