Role
Who you are
- 6+ months in a high-volume Sales Development, Lead Generation, or Business Development role, preferably in SaaS, AdTech, Mobile Gaming, or a related B2B technology environment
- An understanding of performance marketing, mobile monetization methods (e.g., offerwalls, in-app advertising, loyalty programs), and the concept of user LTV
- Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly quotas for booked meetings/SQLs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft highly personalized and professional messages
- Comfortable working in a modern sales environment, including CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft or similar)
- A persistent, results-oriented mentality, coupled with the ability to handle objections and maintain motivation in a metrics-driven environment
- Enthusiastic, self-sufficient, and eager to contribute to the success of your team and the commercial organization
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
What the job involves
- As the Sales Development Representative for LoyaltyPlay, you are the engine of our commercial growth
- Your primary responsibility is to drive a qualified pipeline and secure net-new business opportunities with top-tier mobile app publishers
- Strategically research and identify high-potential mobile app publishers (Ideal Customer Profile: apps with in-app currency and high user volume) across your defined territory, focusing on key decision-makers (VP/Director of Monetization, Head of Revenue/Growth, App Product Owners)
- Execute high-volume, multi-channel outreach using cold email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and cold calling to generate interest and secure initial meetings for the Account Executive team
- Articulate the clear value proposition of LoyaltyPlay—explaining how it drives supplemental revenue, improves user LTV (Lifetime Value), and creates a powerful 'play-and-earn' engagement loop
- Utilize the CRM (likely Salesforce) to log activities, manage opportunities, and accurately track your progress toward monthly goals, reporting on trends, risks, and successes
- Conduct initial discovery and qualification calls to deeply understand the prospect’s current monetization stack, key revenue goals, and pain points related to user retention and LTV
- Work closely with Account Executives to define territory priorities, refine playbooks, and ensure a seamless, high-quality handoff of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive movements, and client-specific news (acquisitions, major updates) to personalize outreach and provide market feedback to internal teams
Our take
Customer retention in mobile gaming can lead to increased ad revenue and more immersive experiences. Mistplay is a loyalty program helping publishers achieve a higher hit rate on their games, whilst simultaneously rewarding gamers for their loyalty.
Its loyalty programme involves curated game recommendation libraries, as well as rewards for partaking in challenges and tournaments. Publishers gain increased ad revenue for partnering with Mistplay as well as the chance to capitalize on a 6 million+ userbase. Indeed, Mistplay has grown significantly since its launch in 2016, resulting in a buyout by GrowthCurve Capital in 2021.
Whilst it mainly focused on Android devices up until 2025, the release of Mistplay for iPhone marks a step up for the company. It's rewarded advertising and loyalty programmes can now reach an even larger consumer base, indicating a promising future for the pioneering ad and gaming platform.
