Staff engineer: cloud infrastructure, CommonAI Compute

• Experience developing a product from scratch, architecting the solution, setting up the devops environment and test infrastructure
• Experience deploying and supporting a product that has many concurrent users
• Strong skills in Linux system administration
• Experience with public cloud, preferably from multiple providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI etc
• Knowledge of system and data security best practices
• Experience using containers, virtual machine technologies, Kubernetes and/or similar container orchestration tools
• Knowledge infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible or Terraform/OpenTofu
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, mentoring others and building a team

Desirable

• The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing a secure and scalable platform for accessing and scaling cloud services alongside our CTO.
• They will be working closely with our customers who are developing solutions in deeptech AI with large training models.
• There is also an opportunity to contribute to open source projects as part of this work
• They will play and active part in building the team as our company grows

• There will be a short first interview with one of the hiring managers, followed by a longer interview, held in person if possible.
• Candidates will be expected to answer questions about experience and skills listed on their CV
• Candidates will be expected to answer technical questions and complete short coding exercises
