What the job involves
- As our new Account Director, Amazon UK&I, you'll be at the helm of our Amazon strategy, driving the sales engine across the Amazon UK&I account
- This role isn’t just about hitting targets – it’s about owning the Amazon relationship, collaborating with some of the sharpest minds in the business, and making sure SharkNinja products are front and center on Amazon
- You’ll report directly to Thiago, VP of Sales UKI, and work closely with our Amazon Center of Excellence to supercharge digital sales and crush our annual budget
- Own It: Take charge of the day-to-day commercial relationship with Amazon, driving resolutions and ensuring our products are always delivering
- Be the Architect: Help develop killer sales strategies that smash sales and margin targets
- Collaborate Like a Pro: Work hand-in-hand with the Amazon account team, the Media team, Product and Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver flawless product launches
- Lead the Charge: Guide your sales team to hit big goals, craft impactful reports, and make sure every category launch is a knockout
- Be the Go-To Expert: From creating co-op plans to strategizing on market share, you’ll be the SharkNinja champion, always delivering winning solutions
- Data Lover: You’ll dive deep into analytics, turn them into action, and deliver the insights that matter
- Negotiate Like a Boss: You’ll always find the sweet spot between SharkNinja and Amazon, ensuring a win-win for everyone

Consumer demand for new and better home appliances continues to grow. SharkNinja serves this demand by designing and manufacturing innovative home goods and devices. Specifically, it has a growing line of solutions that consist of Shark cleaning and home care products and Ninja kitchen appliances.
SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.
SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
