Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of business development experience in automotive or commercial vehicle sales
- Strong knowledge of the van market and fleet customer needs, with hands-on experience in fleet prospecting
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting relationships with commercial clients
- Ability to analyse market trends and turn insights into effective sales strategy
- Holds a valid UK driving licence and is confident managing field-based client meetings
- Eligible to work in the UK
What the job involves
- This role offers the opportunity to help grow the van sales side of the business by developing new commercial opportunities and strengthening relationships with fleet customers.
- As Business Development Manager - Vans, you will play a key part in expanding market presence, shaping sales direction, and supporting sustainable growth through a strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
- Hours - 40
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the van sales market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial vehicle clients
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions
- Prepare forecasts and performance reports to support business planning

LSH Auto UK is the British arm of the Lei Shing Hong global automotive group, a company with over 45 years' history in car retailing. Operating across the UK, LSH Auto UK specialises in Mercedes-Benz and, more recently, BYD and Smart too.
Over time, LSH Auto UK has grown significantly, with 16 dealer sites, serving both new and approved used-car customers and offering after-sales care, including servicing and repairs to parts and accessories. LSH Auto's business model emphasises not just luxury and performance, but also responsibility as it operates in an environmentally and socially conscious way.
To honour this, the company has made big moves into the electric vehicle (EV) space, most recently with the launch of a fifth BYD experience store.
