Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Project Management or Event Management
- Experience within the media, advertising or sports & entertainment industry and working with major advertising agencies or clients directly
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects of varying complexity
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to meet and achieve objectives
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate complex situations with empathy
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
What the job involves
- We're eager to welcome our new member - a skilled Project Manager to spearhead the seamless integration of our valued partners into ESL tournaments
- Boosting productivity across the board while keeping partner claims to a minimum
- As the go-to person for partner implementation within our ESL tournament ecosystem, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and fostering strong relationships
- Your tasks will encompass asset management, strategic social media planning, and hands-on integration with our internal stakeholders
- Planning and executing the integration strategy for all partners into ESL tournaments while being the main point of contact for all internal stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with the Partner Management, Event, and Product teams to ensure high-quality integration of all partners into the respective tournaments incl. daily review of streams and partner obligations
- Collecting and distributing all partner-related assets before and during the tournament
- Planning on ground activations for partners with Account Management
- Tracking of all partner-related activities in the broadcast, on social media, and on the ground during the event
- Support the creation of reportings with respective stakeholders after the tournament has concluded
- Manage integration of partners on third-party platforms (e.g. Twitch) and gather reporting data regularly

Our take
Young people are increasingly turning away from traditional media, and gaming has in recent years become a professional spectator sport that draws huge online crowds. FACEIT is a competitive gaming platform that allows developers to run their own online tournaments, providing ranking charts, skill-based matchmaking and anti-cheat software to ensure that these events are as fair as any traditional sporting competition.
The esports market is projected to be worth about £4.5 billion globally by 2030, and FACEIT has attracted large scale investments as it continues to innovate in this market. Not all of its moves have panned out - for instance its foray into crypto gaming in 2022 could have come at a better time, but its pivot to non-intrusive in-game advertising has been well received by developers and is a testament to the adaptability of the company.
FACEIT is continuing to release and support new gaming products, for instance a car racing tournament released in colloboration with RENNSPORT, where established esports teams and car manufacturers will compete for a prize pool of €500,000. An Overwatch tournament launched in 2024 with a cash prize pool of $170,000. As the esports market shows no sign of slowing down, FACEIT will remain in a strong position to grow alongside it.
